Expanded Try-On Options
TINT started out as a virtual makeup try-on platform. Thanks to the ultra-realistic product representation and advanced recommendations engine, it quickly became one of the market leaders. However, with the latest update, TINT allows trying on other items as well:
- Headwear
- Rings
- Necklaces
- Scarves
- Bracelets/Watches
- Sunglasses/Eyeglasses
The new addition will be useful for specialized jewelry and eyewear brands, as well as retailers and companies with large and diverse product lines.
In the future, more items will be added to the try-on options: colored contacts, hair dyes, etc.
Gift Selection
There are many people who come to makeup stores looking for a gift for their loved one. However, they are having a hard time choosing the right product and have to ask employees for help. This can be inconvenient for shy customers and could result in dissatisfaction, if a staff member recommends something that won’t fit.
TINT has a way to solve this problem. Using the gift selection feature, a user can upload a picture of their loved one. The inbuilt recommendations AI will automatically analyze it and suggest the makeup that is guaranteed to fit the individual in the picture. It saves time, eliminates the need to ask for help, and doesn’t require staff involvement, which means human employees can be redirected to other tasks.
