Background improvements
Virtual backgrounds are one of Banuba’s signature technologies. It has already been one of the best on the market, but now it has become even better.
The latest update was focused on contouring–segmentation of the background along the edges of the person. More finely-tuned neural networks ensure that these edges look more natural, without pixelization, empty spaces, or jitter.
With this enhancement, your users will feel more confident when turning on cameras, improving your app’s engagement.
Improved prefabs
The second component of the new update was the addition of new prefabs for glitter effects and earrings. While your users won’t see the difference, your developers will find it much easier to implement these effects. This directly translates to shorter release times and faster ROI.
Face shape detection
This feature is important for our AI personalized recommendation system. Depending on the shape of a person's face, it can more accurately suggest products that would fit each individual.
