Personalized avatars (iOS)

This feature allows users to easily create 3D characters resembling them. A person can either choose a photo from their gallery or use the live camera feed, and the SDK will create a fitting avatar. The system currently takes into account the following parameters:

  • Skin tone
  • Haircut and hair color
  • Eyebrow shape and color
  • Lip color
  • Face shape
  • Earrings
  • Eyeglasses/sunglasses
  • Facial hair

This feature would be especially effective in video calling apps, although there are many other use cases.

Studio lighting (Web, mobile)

Face AR SDK now allows users to create simulated lighting in pictures and live video feed. The developers can change its brightness, color and direction to achieve the desired effect. The UI for this feature is coming soon.
